This 10-day Northern Vietnam adventure is designed for travelers seeking a balanced combination of culture, dramatic landscapes, and authentic local experiences. Starting in Hanoi, the journey takes you deep into the rugged mountains of Ha Giang, where winding mountain roads, ethnic minority villages, and breathtaking passes define the experience.
You will continue to the emerald waters and limestone formations of Ha Long Bay with an overnight cruise, before heading north by night train to Sapa for scenic trekking through rice terraces and hill tribe villages. Throughout the trip, private transfers, selected local experiences, and small-group services ensure comfort while maintaining an adventurous spirit.

Tour Plan
Day 1: Hanoi arrival - Private airport transfer - Check in hotel in Old town (No meal)
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly driver and transferred to your hotel in the charming Old Quarter. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and explore at your leisure.
You will have our driver ready waiting for your outside the terminal whenever you arrive, please free to choose any time that fits your schedule.

Day 2: Morning Hanoi city tour + 3.00PM transfer to Ha Giang from Hanoi (Breakfast)

Finish time: 12.00
Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and has been a place to keep and witness more than 1000 years of a long history.
That is why this place is a solemn ancient city. Visiting around Hanoi, you will see ancient architectures such as Tran Quoc Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Vietnam Ethnology Museum or Vietnamese
Women’s Museum, Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison. All together create an ancient and historic city.
Coming to Hanoi, you not only see the architectural works but also to immerse yourself in the unique culture here
ITINERARY:
8h00 – 8h30: Our Tour guide and our Bus pick up at your hotel and start to discover Hanoi City
08h45: Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho. You have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.
Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.
Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, pagodas, etc.
Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays. But still can take picture of the Mausoleum and visit around that area.
Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15th June -15th August) for the annual maintaining.
10h15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam.
Special Note: We will visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead of Vietnam Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays.
12h30-12h45: You will be transferred back to hotel
3:00 PM: Limousine pick you up at your hotel. Around 10 PM checkin our hostel in Ha Giang City. Relax in a private room and have a good night before your journey tomorrow.

Day 3: Bike Ha Giang city - Yen Minh - Sung La valley - Dong Van (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Highlights: Exclusive Boat Trip - Heaven Gate - Bac Sum Pass -Tham Ma Slope - H’mong King Palace
8:00 AM: Have breakfast, meet Epic tour guide and local easy rider, have a brief tour information with our guide before your departure.
9:00 AM: Your adventure starts toward Dong Van stone plateau.
10:00 AM: Take the Exclusive Boat Trip on River (Just only for Epic Tour).
11:30 AM: Lunch will be served in Yen Minh Town.
1:30 PM: Continue to drive through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass to Dong Van Town. Checkin Tham Ma Slope – where you can checkin with these old womans wearing the traditional customs and many coloursful buckwheat flowers. Next, visit the ancient architecture Hmong King’s Palace, the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of H’mong people.
5:00 PM: Arrive to Dong Van Town, checkin hotel and enjoy the dinner. Free time after dinner to discover the ancient town at night.
Today you will explore the Dong Van stone plateau – the global geological park. Passing over 100km of pass with folded folding crotch to the middle of the deep abyss, tourists can take chance to cool off and inhale a good dose of revitalizing oxygen while admiring the wild and majestic scenery of the Dong Van stone plateau.

Day 4: Bike Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng - Mau Due - chill on waterfall - Du Gia village (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Highlights: Happy Road - Sky Path – Waterfall in Du Gia – Party at homestay
8:40 AM: After breakfast, begin the day by the new experience “Go to the Dong Van Market” (if it’s Sunday, you have a chance to see the Dong Van weekly local fair where the locals trade and exchange all goods for their life).
10:00 AM: Continue the adventure, we come to Ma Pi Leng Pass. you’ll have the opportunity to trek the Sky Path and take a panoramic view of Nho Que River from the pass. On the way to through the rustic villages and epic mountains of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho, we visit the waterfall where you can swim and relax there.
After that, we spend a night at Cheers Lodge, located in the middle of green rice fields. Here, we and new comers will have a really big party with home-cooked dinner by the local host family. Don’t forget to try the “Happy Water” – the Corn Wine, which is so unique and brings your party to the next level.

Day 5: Bike Du Gia - Lung Tam village - Quan Ba - Ha Giang city - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Highlights: A natural waking morning – Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere – Lung Tam weaving village – Hagiang city
This is the last day of your Ha Giang Loop journey, let’s wake up to enjoy the peaceful of local’s daily life in the beginning of day’s light.
8:30 AM: Enjoy the breakfast with a cup of tea, say good bye to the host locals and on the way back to Ha Giang city.
10:30 AM: Visit Lung Tam - The village is occupied by Hmong ethnic minorities, who are skillful textile products. We then cross Quan Ba, have lunch there and catch on your eyes the Fairy mountain. After crossing Sky Gate, we pass back by Bac Sum Pass and go back to Ha Giang late afternoon.
4:00 PM: get on Limousine bus back to Hanoi
10:00PM: arrive to Ha Noi Old Quarter
Transport: Motorbike with Easy Rider 80 Km (from Du Gia to Ha Giang city) – Limousine (Ha Giang to Hanoi).

Day 6: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Overnight on cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: Having Breakfast at the hotel, check out and be ready for the tour pick up.
The pick up time depending on hotel location, which will be reconfirmed on Day 1.
8h00- 8h45: Tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter.
10h15: Have a short break on half way for 20 minutes to relax.
12h00: Arrive to Tuan Chau Harbor.
12h30: Welcome to Cruise and Enjoy welcome to drink and get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check- in your room with Air-Conditioning.
13h00: Enjoy a special lunch with Vietnamese traditional dishes, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.
Afternoon Itinerary:
15h00: Visiting Sung Sot Cave (Surprising cave).
16h00: Our cruise will take you to the Titop/Soi Sim Island. It is noted for having a viewpoint at its peak which affords splendid views all around Halong Bay or you can enjoy your swimming on romance sandy beach.
17h30: Come back to Cruise then take a shower, Relax on sundeck, sunset watching in comfortable lounge chairs while drinking a cocktail or reading a book in the most magical moment.
18h00: Enjoy welcome Sunset Party and Cooking Class. How to make fresh noodle roll, you can enjoy product which you make it.
Evening Relaxing:
19h00: Enjoy your dinner when sitting by overlooking sea view window in the night romantic Bay
20h30: Playing some sports games like: Squid Fishing, Singing karaoke, or Relax on sundeck

Day 7: Ha Long Bay - back to Hanoi - 21:00 train to Sa Pa - overnight on train (Breakfast, Lunch)
6h00: Wake up in the early morning to see sunrise on sundeck.
7h00: Morning view of bay with a cup of tea of coffee. Have Buffet Breakfast !
7h45: Start visiting Halong Bay Pearl farm. The pearls in Halong are the most renowned in Vietnam. The process of farming and retrieving pearls take years.
8h30: Do kayaking to explore Halong Bay in your own.
9h30: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.
10h45: Enjoy the lunch while Cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbour.
12h00: Cozy Bay Cruise is landing Halong Bay harbor, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.
After that, get on the Bus to return Hanoi by Expressway.
14h15: Stop on half way for short break.
15h30: Arrive at the hotel in Ha Noi Old Quarter.
You can leave your luggage at the hotel receptionist, since there is no hotel book today.
You will take the night train to Hanoi, train departs at 22:00, we will have driver pick you up at 21:00. Stay overnight on train, arrive Lao Cai Station in the next morning.

Day 8: Lao Cai station arrival - get picked up - morning Cat Cat village trekking (Breakfast, Lunch)
05.00 Am arrive at Lao Cai Station, get pick up by bus and dropped off at hotel in town. Have Breakfast then short break before the Cat Cat Trekking.
8.00 AM: A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H'mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
Trekking distance is about 3.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours
Come back to Sapa Town.
Note: There will be a short trek with steps, please take care and do share with the guide know if you are not comfortable with the trek.

Day 9: Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van trekking - sharing Dcar limousine back to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
7.00 - 7.45: Have breakfast at hotel and prepare light pack for trekking
8.30: Trek from Sapa to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain.
11.30: Picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village
12.30:Heading to Ta Van village - home of Dzay ethnic people.
13.30: Bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.
Trekking distance is about 12 kms and it lasts for 4.5 hours
You will arrive Sapa at around 14:00, the driver will wait for you and transfer you back to hotel in Hanoi
You will get into Hanoi at around 20:00 depending on traffic

• 12km trekking, 8km driving from Tavan village back to Sapa.
It is a long trek, please prepare well and wear shoes for this day.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh departure - Private airport drop off - Trip ends (Breakfast)
